PREMIUM ​​RAW SELVEDGE WITH SUBTLE DETAILS

KOJIMA GENES 18oz Left Hand Twill (LHT) denim is raw, super dense and tough, woven by a vintage shuttle loom in a Left Hand Twill construction. LHT is known for its rich deep color, smooth surface, softer feel and break-in easiness developing remarkable comfort and fluffy feeling worn over time.

These ever-changing quality LHT denim has different wear patterns emphasizing vertical fading that tends to be streakier and little more blurry in comparison to RHT.​ 

CORE FABRIC - LEFT HAND TWILL DENIM

Left Hand Twill(LHT) or S-Twill is identified by a diagonal twill pattern running from top left to bottom right on the fabric. Left Hand Twill, usually woven with Z-twist yarn, is spun in reverse direction of Right Hand Twill on a shuttle loom. It is made using 100% US cotton, rope-dyed indigo warp, and white weft.

LHT has notable show of white weft which gives this denim its distinctive look. ​It will gradually evolve into your one-of-a-kind denim with unique fading as the denim matures.

THE HIGHEST QUALITY

There are very few factories that can sew this thick and heavy denim. These limited and unique pairs are carefully handcrafted by incredibly skilled artisans of Kojima, Japan with extra care on a Union Special Machine. It is made using 100% US cotton, rope-dyed indigo warp, and white weft.

• KOJIMA GENES jeans are made smaller than US standard sizes, so please check the SIZING GUIDE to order the right size for you.​

SIZING

Size charts from KOJIMA GENES are measured 360 degrees for the waist and flat for the remaining measurements. All the measurements are in centimeters except for the waist size.
Please measure your own jeans and compare that to our size chart.

KOJIMA GENES products are made little tighter, so please consider picking one size bigger if you are in between two sizes.
